Dining experience and menus
When you come to live in our care home, the chef/cooks will come and talk to you about your likes and dislikes, and whether you have particular dietary requirements, or there is something that is your favourite. All of this information will be recorded in your care plan.
We specialise in nutritious meals for residents who may have been diagnosed with Dysphagia, Parkinson’s, Lewy Body Dementia, Diabetes.
Keeping healthy means eating well so we cook delicious meals in our own kitchens. Our chefs and cooks pride themselves on providing a wide variety of excellent tasty home cooking to suit individual preferences and dietary requirements. Also, they are all trained in nutrition to understand specific needs and special diets.
Residents are always consulted about the food they are offered – the kitchen teams are keen to ensure that you have the very best dining experience and really look forward to meal times. If you fancy something different,all you need to do is ask, if you change your mind at the mealtime there are always other options available of your choice.

Because so much of our food is home-cooked, we like to involve the residents with the planning of our menus, growing and producing fruit and vegetables to be used in the kitchen, keeping our menus seasonal.
